 Our Story

Our families’ roots in the financial services business dates way back to 1957. Over this period of time we have helped over 2000 closely held businesses, publicly traded corporations, banks, Insurance Companies, and high net worth families with their succession and benefit planning needs.

In 2001, our core family business, Pollock & Pollock, Inc. was sold to Huntington National Bank, a $104 billion bank holding company based in Columbus, Ohio, which formed the nucleus of Huntington Insurance Services. At the same time, as a Principal of Clark Bardes, we participated in a company IPO on the NYSE and helped forge a new market which became known as BOLI (Bank Owned Life Insurance). Today, over 3300 banks representing $179 billion in assets enjoy the benefits of BOLI on their financial statements. In 2005 Clark Bardes was sold to Aegon, a $907 billion multinational life insurance and management company conglomerate.
